Get rid of Menu on single pages

In the Lush theme I'm trying to switch off the Menu on secondary pages, not on the front page though. Inlcuding the code

.home .menu-toggle {display:none;}

in the custom css form for the whole site (LUSH->Look&Feel->Custom CSS) switches the menu off only on the front page. Putting the code in the Custom CSS of the respective page (Page Settings) doesn't change anything, the menu stays.

Any suggestions?

Sorry, should have searched the internet first. Solved it myself, just had to replace .home with the page-id. Jan
